A Legacy of Love and Baking Excellence at the Monarch Cake Shop, we are proud to be a mother and daughter team who have been passionately baking together for an impressive 30 years. What started as a simple love for baking has grown into a flourishing family legacy, built on a foundation of love, skill, and a shared commitment to create exceptional cakes.

We are Marisa, “Risa” and Jolie Ramirez. We have been baking together since Risa was 3-years-old standing on a kitchen chair breaking eggs on the counter and stirring with a spoon almost as long as her arm. Back then the batter either ended up on our faces, on the floor, or in our mouths. Now, we work together to fashion delicious flavor combinations and tried and true cake recipes to make our unique individual mini cakes and cupcakes just for you!

Jolie started her first baking business at 12 years old, making handmade traditional boiled bagels, brownies, and cinnamon rolls to sell at local shops. She went on to study as a chef and did specialized training in pastries and cakes. She taught her children to have a passion for quality ingredients you can taste in every bite, like real eggs, real butter, fresh fruit, fragrant spices, and, of course, premium chocolate. During their travels, Jolie and Risa have enjoyed delicious confections from all over the world. At Monarch Cake Shop we want you to experience those flavors too.

Our flavors change monthly. We will explore the cultures, seasons, and holidays celebrated during the month. We hope you keep coming back to see what’s new and to try new flavor adventures with us.
